Flex Insurance back to back winners of the ANZIIF Making a Difference Award 2021 & 2022
Flex Insurance, Australia’s first digital Underwriting Agency has won the ANZIIF Making a Difference Award for the 2nd year in a row. Flex Insurance has been experiencing unprecedented growth since its launch growing more than 100 percent year on year.
Sara Rusdiah, Team Leader at Flex Insurance was named as the 2022 winner for the ANZIIF Making a Difference Awards in the Underwriting Category.

Two months after Sara Rusdiah started at Flex Insurance she had to step up to fill the vacant position of a senior underwriter. Sara had to quickly navigate the complex world of underwriting as someone without any prior background in it.
‘I never stopped, even during weeknights and weekends until I had met my targets,’ Sara says.
Now as Team Leader, Sara currently oversees an expanded team of 10 underwriters as the Flex Insurance business continues to grow. Sara's vision as Team Leader is to provide regular supervision and training to upskill the newly formed team to maintain excellence in customer service and meet clients’ expectations.
"There are no words to express how grateful I am to have won the ANZIIF Making a Difference award. It has inspired me to deepen my knowledge and contribute further to the industry as well as the communities we serve” Sara says.
